PT. Gurita Lintas Samudera is privately owned sea borne transporation company specialized in general and dry cargo. Today, the company has proven and shown its management and technical expertise in the shipping field are well executed and performed through "All Weather" business environment. The company has grown constantly in scope and proud to provide a full range of shipping services from its basic shipowning & operating services to agency, stevedoring, and shipmanagement services.

Our head office in Jakarta is staffed by well educated and highly skilled staffs, backed with enthusiasm and confidence, are always available round the clock for all of clients needs, whether for loading / unloading, bunkering, supplying, repairing, freight marketing or whatever. For sales and service of cargo management and handling, we handle all the task for our clients. We explore new markets, exchange sales leads, and provide courteous service to importers and exporters alike.

Our company's ability to respond quickly to fast market conditions and customer preference has been an essential element in its continuing success. The knowledge and integrity forms the basis of our company, over the years of extensive marine, trading and distribution network that has derived from a deliberated strategy that is based on delivery of quality with service. As a matter of a course, a full service is our intention to establish a long lasting relationship with our clients by providing efficient, economical and personalized service. Our operation is also supported by our prominent network of branches that cover mostly Indonesian Ports.

    Our Great Asset

    We belive that our human resources are the driving force behind the company's succes. Our policy is to retrain and cherish the people who work for us. Achieving a quality work force begins with our stringent recruitment policy and control, and continues with regular training and development. Our workforce comprises well over 325 on-board personel, from senior officer to crew members, and around 72 land-based employees, including technicians and administrative staff.

    Every employee is highly trained, with proven competence and skill. In additon, for having the higest levels of competence in their respective field of expertise, staff memebers are each provided with comprehensive cross-training to enable the carring out a multitude of non-core task. Specific skills course, safety training and professional development course are also arranged for every employee.

    PT. Gurita Lintas Samudera has branches located in Surabaya, Balikpapan, Pontianak, Anyer, Teluk Bayur, Samarinda, Tarakan, Ambon and Ternate.
